This happens to be the largest city in China with regards to population. With influence in commerce, culture, media, technology, transport, fashion and finance it is a global city and a major financial center for the People’s Republic of China. The city is a very popular tourist destination with countless historical landmarks including The Bund, City God Temple and Yuyuan Garden. The skyline is absolutely amazing and rapidly growing. If you are in the country, be sure to visit Shanghai, it will be worth your while, that’s for certain.
4. WASHINGTON, D.C.
You can call it The District, Washington or D.C. The city happens to be the capital of United States of America. The city has an estimated population of around 619,997 and it happens to take the twenty fifth spot all over United States with regards to population. There are many historical sites and museums in the area. The city has influence in arts and sports and it also happens to be one of the major financial centers for the country. It is just nice to visit the capital when you are in the country. It usually stands out and feels different.
3. RIO DE JANEIRO
I am sure this city is not a mystery to many people and know you know what’s so awesome about this place.it happens to the capital of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the second largest city in all of Brazil. It is a hub of tourism in the country with its many beautiful beaches and influence in sports, music theatre, recreational activities and culture. The city boasts the second largest GDP in the county as well. The city was founded on 1565. The city comes alive at night.
2. PARIS
You talk of places to visit without the mention of Paris? That is absolutely impossible and for good reason. It is the largest city of France and the capital. It is known as the most romantic city of the world and also the fashion capital of the world. Having had the pleasure of visiting a couple of months ago, I can vouch for the fact that it really is amazing. With countless monument and beautiful architecture, with awesome places to shop at and excellent food, Paris is a heaven.
1. LONDON
You know why London is all the buzz this year. Primarily because of the Olympics which happen to be doing pretty well as I write. Talk of sport, talk of food, talk of fashion and London is full of it this year. It is not just the Olympics that have gotten London all famous this year but it’s also because of the London 2012 Festival. The event will see more than 12,000 events taking place all over the capital and it should be something to experience. If you are lucky enough to get an opportunity to go to London this year, do not miss it.
