As Rhett began to pack his things and leave, Scarlett began to ask about what she would do and where she would end up. That is when Rhett delivered the unforgettable line. 9. Casablanca: “Play it again, Sam”


This is arguably one of the most known movie lines of all time. And the funny part is that the quote never actually appears in the movie itself. The actually quote was somewhat different. It was recorded as the above quote in 2005 when it made its way onto the list of Top 100 Movie Quotes. Either way, the movie is phenomenal and the quote is one that will probably be around for a long time.

 

8. Dirty Dancing: “Nobody puts Baby in a corner”

At the end of Dirty Dancing, Johnny (Baby’s dancer partner), returns to the resort so that he can perform his final dance of that season. As he approaches Baby, they are all sitting at a table, with her family in front. That is when he delivers the famous line. Afterwards, he brings Baby onstage so that they can dance together. This Academy Award winning film is quite impressive and can really dare someone to follow their dreams. In this film, Robin Williams plays an English professor. Basically, he doesn’t like the schools conformity and instead would like students to follow their passions. The quote itself is taken when he takes his class outside of the school for a talk and exploration. Throughout the remainder of the movie, the students use this quote as motivation.

The movie itself is about a boy named Ferris Bueller who decides to spend the day skipping school and exploring the lovely city of Chicago. Interview with a Vampire actually started off as a novel by Anne Rice and quickly turned into a Hollywood hit. Depressed because of the death of his daughter and wife, the main character (Louis) seeks death. This is what draws in the vampire, Lestat. He offers to make the main character a vampire so that you can enjoy all of the happiness that he deserves. The quote was delivered during the interview, as the vampire was describing his last memories as a human.

Titanic, one of the highest grossing films of all times tells a love story about a man named Jack and a woman named Rose. Jack is a “gypsy” who lives in poverty and makes his way from city to city with no real purpose. Rose on the other hand, is very wealthy and intends on marrying soon. However, after he saves her life, Rose falls for him and together they must fight for survival as the Titanic sinks. The quote comes from the scene where Jack was invited to have dinner with Rose and her guests and family.

If you’re already a Star Wars fanatic then you know the quote. The film basically follows the life of Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi who has been selected to bring down the forces of evil.
