8. TATE GALLERY OF MODERN ART
It used to be an old power station. The Swiss architects named Herzog and de Meuron transformed it into a gallery and it cost 130 million pounds. It is becoming very popular among artists, art lovers and of course tourists. It is located at the Bankside. There are four themed groups for international Modern Art. If you admire art, you should definitely visit this place, I know I will even though I am not a big fan of art.
7. THE BRITISH MUSEUM
Millions of people from all around the world visit this place. It is situated on the Great Russell Street in London. You have collections from Egypt, Greek and Roman art. You can also find coins and medals from Mesopotamian times. There literally is 2.5 miles of gallery in this place so you better wear a nice pair of walking shoes. All of you should visit it once, I’m sure you will find something interesting.
6. THE TOWER OF LONDON
The Tower of London is famous for imprisonment and executions. It has also been used as a home to the royals. The Tower of London has previously been used an armory, a mint, an observatory and a safe for the Crown Jewels (it is still used for that). The jewels have been kept in the tower for a very long time; it started in 1327. The most famous of Crown Jewels would be the ‘Imperia State Crown’ that has a 317-karat Indian Diamond in it called ‘Kohinoor’. You can explore the tower on your own, but it will be better if you do it with a guide.
