This song is sung by Brian McKnight who was born on the 5th June of 1969. He is a singer-songwriter, producer and R&B musician. The interesting thing about him is that he plays a piano, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet.
9. YOU GOTTA WANT IT – MOTIVATIONAL SONGS
You’ve gotta want it from the bottom of your heart; You’ve gotta give it everything you’ve got; You’ve gotta live it and never let it go; Feel it so completely; Body, mind and soul.
This particular song was sung by Roberta Gold and it happens to be very powerful. You might think it is a little funky to be a motivational song but you will soon change your mind. It’s well worth a listen.

This song was performed by Gloria Gaynor and it was released in October 1978. The song was written by Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris.
7. DARE YOU TO MOVE – SWITCHFOOT
I dare you to move; I dare you to move; I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor; I dare you to move; I dare you to move; Like today never happened; Today never happened before.
Switchfoot is an alternative rock band and this particular song came from their fourth studio album. The name of the album was The Beautiful Letdown. The song was originally called ‘I Dare You to Move’ but later it was changed to ‘Dare You to Move’.
6. NEVER SURRENDER – COREY HART

Corey Hart is a Canadian singer and this song was the first single off his second album in 1985. The album was called Boy in the Box. It was the number one song in Canada for a total period of nine weeks and the song reached the third spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
5. HERO – MARIAH CAREY
And then a hero comes along; With the strength to carry on; And you cast your fears aside; And you know you can survive; So when you feel like hope is gone; Look inside you and be strong; And you’ll finally see the truth; That a hero lies in you.
Mariah Carey is an American singer and writer. This particular song was released in the year 1993 in October. This was the second single from her third studio album.
4. I BELIEVE I CAN FLY – R KELLY
I believe I can fly; believe I can touch the sky; I think about it every night and day; Spread my wings and fly away; I believe I can soar; I see me running through that open door; I believe I can fly; I believe I can fly; I believe I can fly.
R. Kelly is an R&B singer and this song came from him in the year 1996. It was written and produced by Jelly himself and it featured as a soundtrack in the film Space Jam. The song appeared in his album called R later in the year 1998.
3. GONNA FLY NOW – BILL CONTI
Trying hard now; It’s so hard now; Trying hard now; Getting strong now; Won’t be long now; Getting strong now; Gonna fly now; Flying high now; Gonna fly, fly, fly.
This song is also known as the Theme from Rocky. The song was composed by Bill Conti and the lyrics were written by Carol Connors and Ayn Robbins. The song was released in February of 1977.
2. REACH – GLORIA ESTEFAN

This song was released as a single by Gloria Estefan in the year 1996. The song came off of her seventh studio album called Destiny. It was released on the 2nd April in year 1996.
1. EYE OF THE TIGER – SURVIVOR
It’s the eye of the tiger; It’s the thrill of the fight; Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival; And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night; And he’s watching us all with the eye of the tiger.
I am sure this song needs no introduction. It was sung by the American Rock Band Survivor and was released in May of 1982. This song was the theme for the movie Rocky III and it was written on the request of Sylvester Stallone himself.
