Steven Parkes, a British man began collecting Smurfs toys as a child, when they were sold as key chains and stuffed toys. And it seems that it became a habit more than obsession because up to Jan 28, 2010 Parkes’ collection has reached to total 1,061 pieces. The collection includes Christmas Smurfs, Easter Smurfs and Smurfs dressed as historical figures.
9. Largest Display of Star Wars clone troopers
LEGO® in Slough, U.K displayed the largest Star Wars clone troopers built entirely with interlocking plastic bricks on June 27, 2008.It was stated that the army of the troopers was composed of approximately 35,310 individual models. The display by the LEGO® Company was considered as a really big treat for the Star Wars fans.
8. The 400-Square-Foot Key Card Hotel
Bryan Berg broke the Guinness world record for the world’s tallest house of cards in 1992 at the age of 17, with a tower fourteen feet, six inches tall. And in 2004 at the mere age of 34, professional card stacker has broken his own record by making a 400 square foot Key Card Hotel, which comprises of more than 200,000 Holiday Inn key cards at the South Street Seaport. The incredible Key Card Hotel features a guest bedroom, bathroom and lobby with life sized furniture made out of key cards. Berg occasionally takes a break on the key card bed of his own design.

Michael Jackson a.k.a the king of pop died on June 25, 2009. He is considered to be a living legend. So as a tribute to the king of pop Michael Jackson impersonator Hector Jackson performs along with thousands of people at the Monument of the Revolution in Mexico City on August 29, 2009. This was considered to be as a world record holder for the most people dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. The number of people dancing was said to be approximately 13,597.
6. World’s Stretchiest Skin
On October 28, 1999, it was recorded that the world’s stretchiest skin belongs to a guy named Gary Turner: Garry Turner, of Caistor, Lincolnshire, England, stretched skin of his stomach to a distended length of 15.8 cm (6.25 in) on the set of Guinness World Records: Primetime in Los Angeles, California. After examining Gary’s medical condition it was discovered that he had a rare medical condition called Elhers Danlos Syndrome, a disorder of the connective tissues.
