I am a total anime freak and I am sure most of you are as well. A while ago we covered some of the best and worst anime series along with the all-time favorites. This time around, we are bringing you the most overrated anime series of all time. By overrated we mean that these particular series did not deserve to be seen as many times as they were seen or by as many viewers. They are seriously below standard that modern day anime have. Anyway, these rankings are official and the name of the anime series is followed by the original plot summaries, just to give you an idea of what they are all about. Thank you ANN. Enjoy the read!

In the future humankind has expanded and colonized other planets. Then an alien species, Victim, attacks the human colonies leaving only one planet, Zion. In an effort to stop Victim from destroying the last planet a training school, GOA, is set up to gather boys from the Zion colonies and train them to become pilots of the Ingrids AKA The Goddesses, five fighting robots that protect Zion. The boys must possess a rare blood type, EO , as well as a special ability, or EX. Zero (Candidate 88) has just arrived in GOA when he falls into the cockpit of the Ingrid Eeva-Leena. Since the synch between pilot and Ingrid are very sensitive everyone believes the Goddess will kill Zero in an attempt to synch. Just before Zero passes out he makes a full synch with the Goddess. Before he can find out more about the incident, his pilot training begins.

It’s the year of destiny, and 15 year old Kamui Shiro, a powerful psychic, has returned to Toyko after a 6 year absence, having left when he was very young. He wants to be with his childhood friends, Fuma (his best friend) and Kotori, Fuma’s little sister (and Kamui’s possible girlfriend). He wants to protect them from all dangers, but destiny and fate are haunting Kamui and pulling in himself and his beloved childhood friends. It is his destiny and his sole decision to decide the fate of the world, no matter if he wants the role or not. Now it is a matter of if he will join the side of the Seven Seals and become the Dragon of Heaven to save mankind or join the Seven Angels and become the Dragon of Earth to destroy all civilization so the earth can heal itself from man’s destruction.

After their parents disappear, Ai and Yu read their parents’ research and then decide to go in search of them. They ride a strange train to the Inner World and meet up with a girl named Lisa. Together, all 3 begin their journey within the Inner World. Ai and Yu, after reading their parent’s research and after their parents’ disappearance, they decided to go on search for them. Bo Bobo is a man with the incredible power of hearing the voices of hair and using his own to fight. He uses his power to fight off the Margarita Empire and all of EmperorTsuru Tsuruiina’s minions who are stealing the hair off of anyone they find to power up their emperor.
